Photographer Bob Blackwell and Designer Jill Katz collaborate on numerous commercial and fine art projects. Miss Orange of the Salton Sea was born from their individual passions for Jill's costume design and Bob's love of the desert landscape. They are available as an art direction team for web design, graphic design and photography commissions.

Bob Blackwell has more than 10 years of photographic experience working as a professional photographer for the past 4 years. As both a commercial and a
fine art photographer Bob’s aesthetic has been refined through both higher education and commission work. An award-winning photographer and graduate of the
prestigious Brooks Institute, Bob serves clients throughout the Western United States and abroad creating images for the architectural, interior design, real estate and corporate communities including annual reports, hospitality (hotels and resorts) and portraiture.
Bob also contributes to the School of Media Arts at Santa Barbara City College serving as an adjunct faculty in photography.

JILL KATZ, Costume Design and Story of Miss Orange of the Salton Sea
Designer Jill Katz has over twenty years' experience in visual design and an education in journalism. She currently owns a web development company, Katz & Mouse, in Santa Barbara, California. The Katz & Mouse philosophy is your business deserves more than a "cookie-cutter" site. Jill believes it is imperative to have clear type and high-quality, quick-loading graphics to create captivating web sites. She uses these elements to increase functionality and enhance your potential client's experience. After all, successful communication is all about grabbing the viewer's attention--and keeping it. Jill knows that getting your message across in the most effective way possible is your number-one goal. So she makes it hers.
